Index Mining
allocates a share of Fractal block rewards to indexers.
Staking on PrimeIndexer is non-custodial Taproot staking — you keep control of your FB
while earning allocated rewards.
Official Binding starts at 1 FB. Compound only works after you Bind PrimeIndexer and link pool payouts to that stake address — Binding alone is not enough.
Use the same FB address for Stratum, UniSat, Binding, and the compound toggle. Finder 5 FB still pays the mining address. Merged mining (3340–3342) is a separate product and does not compound.

Bind PrimeIndexer (1 FB min)
Open My Staking, connect UniSat with that address, and stake at least 1 FB to PrimeIndexer (1818297:10). That on-chain Binding creates your stake address.

Let the Binding confirm. If compound still says “no Binding,” refresh after a few blocks — do not toggle yet.

Link PPS+ to the stake address
On the pool dashboard, look up your miner, connect UniSat, select the PrimeIndexer Binding, and turn on “Pay PPS to stake address.” That link is what makes compound work.

Index Mining
Stake FB on PrimeIndexer
Not Stratum. Rewards come from indexer allocation, claimed on-chain from the staking dashboard.
How do I stake on PrimeIndexer?
Open the staking dashboard, connect UniSat, then stake at least 1 FB to PrimeIndexer. That creates the FIP-101 Binding. You can unstake and claim allocated rewards from the same UI.
How are Index Mining rewards paid?
PrimeIndexer earns protocol index rewards as it indexes Fractal blocks. Allocated FB accrues to your stake; you claim it on-chain from the staking UI. This is not Hybrid PPS+ and not merged-mining PROP-N.
Is Index Mining the same as the mining pool?
No. Index Mining is FIP-101 staking to PrimeIndexer. The Stratum pool is a separate product: Hybrid PPS+ on ports 3334–3336, or merged mining on 3340–3342.
How do I compound mining into staking?
Mine Hybrid PPS+ with your FB address, Bind at least 1 FB to PrimeIndexer with the same wallet, then on the pool dashboard toggle “Pay PPS to stake address.” Binding without that link still pays your mining address.

How do I connect my miner?
Use Stratum URL stratum+tcp://pool.primetriad.com:3334 (Europe: eu.pool.primetriad.com:3334, Asia: sg.pool.primetriad.com:3334), username = your Fractal Bitcoin address, password x. Works with ASICs, Bitaxe, and any Stratum-compatible miner. No account or API key required. Confirm shares on pool.primetriad.com.
What fees and rewards should I expect?
Hybrid PPS+: each accepted share earns FB credit from the published rate after a 1.5% fee. The miner who finds a block also receives a 5 FB coinbase bonus. Balances pay out on-chain above a low threshold.
Do you pay via Lightning?
No. Fractal Bitcoin does not have Lightning. PrimeTriad pays on-chain FB to the address in your worker name.
Is this a permissionless pool?
Yes. Anyone can connect with a valid FB address. There is no KYC, whitelist, or registration. Hashrate is pooled; payouts follow published share accounting.
Where is live hashrate and miner data?
The public dashboard at https://pool.primetriad.com shows pool hashrate, workers, blocks, and payouts in real time.
Merged Mining
BTC + FB AuxPoW (ports 3340–3342)
Separate stack from Hybrid PPS+. One hash, two ledgers. Username is Bitcoin; password is Fractal.
How do I merge-mine Bitcoin and Fractal?
Use a different port than Hybrid PPS+. Default stratum+tcp://pool.primetriad.com:3341 (Bitaxe :3340, high :3342). Same hosts in EU and Singapore. Username is your Bitcoin address (optional .worker). Password is your Fractal Bitcoin address — not x. Merge is PROP-N with 1 BTC + 5 FB finder bonuses and a 1.5% fee; it is not Hybrid PPS+.
How does merged-mining payout work?
When the pool finds a block on one coin, that coin’s coinbase is split: finder bonus (1 BTC or 5 FB), then 1.5% fee, then the remainder by share-diff in that coin’s rolling PROP-N window. The other coin’s window is unchanged. Automatic miner send is off in beta — coinbase currently goes to the pool treasury.
Can I use the same ports as Hybrid PPS+?
No. Hybrid PPS+ is 3334–3336. Merged mining is 3340–3342. Pointing a merge miner at 3334 will not AuxPoW Bitcoin. Password x will also fail on merge — it needs a real FB address.
